Pro Tools can actually use VST instruments. They can be wrapped with Fxpansion VST to RTAS wrapper. There are some pretty cool vst instruments or effects that work real well wiith Pro Tools. Check...

Thinking of moving from Xp to Vista

Does anybody know if virtual instruments and/or effect plug ins will work from an xp operating system to a Vista Operating system? I'm running Pro Tools 7.4.

Thanks Pt Lover, I got it now. It was actually the Instrument tracks midi input. I went to view instrument track and assigned the channel to Trilogy. I never had to do this with any other V.I. Thanks...

I have a good one here.... I just got Spectrasonics Triology Bass Module. I am very familiar with using virtual instruments and having no problems at all. This software has got me going crazy....
