Yes, A sync I/O is in use.

Clock source: external Big Ben @ 48k (has discrete clock refrence of the rooms black burst distrobution amp)
Clock Refrence: External (also a discrete feed)...

We are going to try switching drives, and use FW400 insted of FW800. I dont know what this will change, but its one less variable.

We switched Master Clocks and the random beeps still occcur. Sometimes it just beeps, other times it actually draws in the beeps into the waveforms. It looks like fourth order harmonics. We are...

Today we have switched the clock source to loop sync to see if this will rectify the issue.

The external clock in use previously was an apogee Big Ben.

I would like to move my mac out of the room I mix in, to a nearby closet to reduce hard disk and fan noise. How can I have the mac and the interface more than 5 feet from one another?
