Hi,

I just wanted to tell you that I had success with a simple USB3 to Gigabit LAN Adapter.
Eucon is stable since I connected with this Adapter.

Eucon is locked to Pro Tools.
No control app involved. But from time to time, the surfaces loose their assignments, sometimes they reboot.

...yes, today without tablet, when I reordered some tracks, all surfaces lost their fixed track-layout. I could recall that layout, but I wonder why that happens.

Got a new, very fast wifi-router. Control (iPad Air2) ist connected via 5G wifi.
It runs stable for most of the time, but occasionally short interruptions happen.

I tried another router, but the LAN connection is still unstable. It seems, that WiFi connction is much more stable.
Can you suggest an USB-LAN adapter that is reliable?

I found on my small tp-link switch, that IGMP snooping and QoS was active.
Changed it and will observe, if it get's better.

...ok I identified the control app on iPad as cause.
It doesn't matter if connected via LAN or WIFI, DHCP or fixed IP.
Without the iPad, the S1s and DOCK are stable.

maybe someone got a hint for me.

I'm using 2xS1 a DOCK and Control with the newest software. Once a day (and sometimes more often) the units loose connection with the EUCON...
