Sorry for the late reply but I finally found 2 weeks ago what was wrong. As all the mac monitors were not yet installed in the studio, I used screen sharing to control Protools from the Media...

You're right, I meant that Protools shows this message.

The preferences to send and receive play command are checked.

Dear all,

I'm running for the first time an Avid Media Composer in a Protools Satellite system. MC is version 7, Protools is version 11, both on Mac 10.8.5. I can connect the two system together....

The transport is online on the Admin. He has to chase the LTC of our console (DFC). We could setup the Protools as a Machine control master but the mixer doesn't like the protools this way. Anyway...

Hey,

I found something: you have to reduce the edit window length into the Setup>Preferences menu, Display tab. For example I did set it to 3hours and it was ok.
