need advice on dual monitor card for OS9 and OSX

My system:
G4 AGP Graphics; Mix-Plus system; OS9.2
I'm using an Appian J2000 dual vga card

Unfortunately OSX drivers for this dual-monitor card are not available.

I need to replace this...

I'm using a European MBox with a US purchased Apple G4 Titanium. No reason why you can't integrate hardware from either side of the pond. Plug away...

thanks for the info everyone.

Since he's really not going to go above 14-16 tracks we'll be able to spend an hour or so 'comping' the regions to whole tracks
and faking the rendering that way....

many thanks for the reply - as you describe it, the FTP function is exactly what is needed however I note that the render function isn't on the MDR.
We'll take a look at the removeable drive method...

I agree that the USD is a great sync device but right now I don't have that kind of money to spend on hardware so I'm hiring one every session....

Problem fixed : I got my hands on a Time Base Corrector, put it between the VHS and the DataVideo analogue-to-DV convertor and sure enough the capture is now clean and all the frames are making it...

Yes - the problem could be a bad VHS dub (or a cheap VHS tape).

I spent some time today with this. Two 24 minute VHS reels came in for a TV show today and since there was no client sitting in and the sync wasn't a critical issue (the video is for reference only)...
