Check out the BUZZ Audio MA2.2
if you can,
this dual channel preamp sounds absolutely
wonderfull.

Simillar to an Avalon AD2022 but much cheaper.

is very wel priced and is a big improvment

Your Mix + would run rings around that system

the computer is basicly sitting there twidiling it's thumbs as all the audio tracks and plugins are handled by the TDM chips....

I use an RME ADI-8DS 8 analogue ins /and outs as (master clock) connected to 24 bit adat bridge , which receives word clock from the RME. Adat bridge is connected to Mix core card, works great...

hi,
I'm using this exact setup and i can tell you it works great and sounds fantastic.

I was originally using the RME converters
with a digi 001 so it made sense to base my TDM mix setup around...

Yes you can , i just bought one for a 001 system, and it's fantastic doesn't slow down the pci bus at all, perfect integration with pro tools, i love it.

I use the RME adi 8 pro , and i can tell you this converter is fantastic.

This is a massive improvment over the Digi 001 ad/da.

I was actually quite pleased with the sound quallity of the 001....
