Re: Apogee Thunderbridge for Avid HD I/O?

Have there been any developments on this? Will Apogee Thunderbridge work with Avid HD I/O (and Pro Tools) or is there any likelihood of this happening in 2014?

Re: Apogee AD16X and HDX compatibility announced

Someone from Apogee confirmed for me yesterday that the next SymI/O update will cause the Symphony I/O to appear as an HD I/O in Pro Tools (and match the HD I/O latency compensation), ensuring...

Re: corrupt audio files PT 8.0.3

Just wanted to add my gratitude, Rail. Absolutely amazing, you've saved my session.

Thank you very much!

FWIW I was experiencing corrupt files at random (so far on 3 out of 10 sessions (songs)...

Re: choppy graphics (meters, counter) after a HW failure

No improvement on a new hard drive with clean Snow Leopard and Pro Tools 9 installation. Must be hardware.

I forgot to mention that I'm running a C|24, and the meters and counter etc are...

Re: choppy graphics (meters, counter) after a HW failure

This morning I ran the Digitest about 10 times, same result each time.
I'm not prepared to wrap the computer up and deliberately overheat it, then stress it out - although I'm sure it would yield an...

Re: choppy graphics (meters, counter) after a HW failure

A quick update to say that I tried booting from the install disk, running repair disk and repair disk permissions, but the problem still remains.

I also ran the DigiTest; the Accel cards passed,...

Re: choppy graphics (meters, counter) after a HW failure

Thanks dude, that comment was lighthearted desperation - not a dismissal. :) I appreciate the suggestion.

I guess I could remove the Accel cards one at a time and test, but I have no idea how I...

Re: choppy graphics (meters, counter) after a HW failure

Thanks Craig I'll try that this afternoon.

Yeah dude, it only seems to affect Pro Tools. But to be fair there's not much else that computer gets used for. Don't tell me it's a core/accel card...

Re: choppy graphics (meters, counter) after a HW failure

As for when this first occurred...

I arrived at the studio (first day of a session with new clients!) and the Mac wouldn't boot. It was freezing on a pale blue screen after the grey loading...

choppy graphics (meters, counter) after a HW failure

I'm experiencing slow choppy graphics in PT HD 8, which had been working fine up until a particular event (which I'll explain in my next post).

Now when a session is playing, if I'm zoomed out far...
