Hmm. You might try emailing their customer service to see what they say about demos. Also, there's a book at Amazon (Apple Pro Training Series: Logic 6) that includes a trial version.

Shady656, there's no Abbey Road plugin, current or planned, that I know of. I was just having some fun. Sounds like the Chandler TG1 might be the functional equivalent, though.

RadioMoo, as if you needed more encouragement, ramble on! What about Abbey Road? That sound is so warm and compressed (thinking especially of Come Together). The bass sound alone boggles the mind....

Word on the street is that the Superdrive can burn DVD-RW discs if you use Toast 5 Titanium. The Toast manual says it (Toast) will burn DVD-RW.

I'm with phamtec. I've never had a problem running protools on a DP500. In fact, I've been running the software for months and this is the first I've even heard of a DP "problem."
