Just wanted to say thanks for the advice and tips you all provided. It was very helpful. I ended up "worldizing" the audio that was provided to me by taking a speaker and a 416 outdoors...

My client wants me to turn VO (recorded in a studio) into "on location sound." Can you share any tips or basic steps I should try in order to achieve "a boom mic" sound?

Are you using a Canopus Box to output Motion JPEG (is it type A or type B) I tried making a type B, it looked great, but won't go out the firewire port.
