I am thinking of upgrading to HD using a 192 digital and going ADAT or TDIF out to a couple of Rosetta 800s or Trak2s. Do the Rosetta's come with ADAT or TDIF capabilities? Has anyone tried this...

The alternatives to the 002 are much better than the 002. I find the faders on the 002 plasticky and horrible, like theyve been thrown together haphazardly, they are loose and dont feel like real...

thanks for the info. Trak2 converters are the same as 8000 SE which are reeeeallly hot anyway, coupled with the pre amps
and tape simulation (which sounds lovely to me) ive decided to go with buying...

Hmm... tough decisions...Its an arm and a leg for me to fork out £2000 on an interface, so I cant just get both! Any more feedback anyone?

Noisy converters

Ive been using the 001 for a while now and something has always bugged me about the sound of everything going through it.

It seems that when I pull faders down -18dB it sounds acceptable to me....
