I've read all the threads and have the same issues as everyone else when engaging the talkback mic on Carbon. Lots of fan noise and a VERY annoying click/pop every time I engage/disengage the mic....

The mp3 option was installed as part of my PT install/upgrade. Not sure why it's not being recognized.

It turns out the core of my problem seemed to be an errant plugin. I had recently upgraded my McDSP stuff and later found out there was a bug with the Revolver plug. I downgraded back to the prior...

For the record, I created a brand new session and imported all the session data from the problematic session. Problem solved.

I trashed prefs/databases and that didn't fix this session. For the moment, I only seem to be having the issue with this particular session.

I haven't done a lot of 'importing'. I read up on that...

I trashed databases (saw that suggestion in another related post), but have not trashed preferernces. All plugins are compatible. I'll try the import suggestion and see if that works.

PT8 hangs when closing session

I have a session that works completely fine, until I go to close it. I save the session and then PT hangs up and just goes to a white screen. My 002 says "session closing please wait..." It will hang...

So far I haven't had any issues unless I have a midi track in the session. As soon as I add a midi track, the issue rears it's head.

Just finished a session and thankfully had zero issues. So far my problem has existed only in sessions where I have MIDI and where I'm using VIs - always Strike and sometimes xpand and...

This issue is driving me crazy. I never had the problem on 7.4, but I have it consistently on v8. The last several days have been terrible. Record/pause, play/pause... It sometimes takes 8 or 9...
