MacBook pro i7 2 core vs MacBook Pro i7 4 core for PT9

What are the benefits of 2 core vs 4 core processors for PT9?

Will a 2.8 GHz 2 core i7 MacBook Pro be outperformed by a 4 core 2.2 or 2.3 GHz i7 MacBook Pro.

Many thanks in advance.
