Re: 3rd Party AAX Plug-Ins
Don't sleep on this one and don't let the system requirements scare you off if you're on a Mac. It runs just fine in OSX 10.13.6 aka High Sierra.

I don't think they're updating any of what they call legacy plugins like the Mix Pack.

Re: 3rd Party AAX Plug-Ins - Solid State Logic Acquires Harrison
The article only touches upon Audiotonix which is a shame. Audiotonix actually owns SSL and a bunch of other brands like Slate Digital etc. https://www.audiotonix.com/our-brands/

Re: 3rd Party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
Yes and it's called Blue Cat Patchwork or MB7 that can host the plugins. But that depends on whether Steinberg (I'm guessing you're talking about coming from Cubase) exposes their plugins for use in...

Re: 3rd party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
Are you running Play 4.1.8 (latest version)? No such problems here and I use Play (EWQLSO/Ra/Stormdrum2) every day.

Re: 3rd party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
With a powerful enough system you can mix as you go with native plugins. Now if you're doing film soundtracks that's another matter where you've got hundreds of tracks. There's nothing that says a...

Nice to see someone purchased this s/w asset from Bias. Loved it on my PC when I ran Sonar. Now if they would just buy Peak I'd be happy.

Re: 3rd party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
They're the only ones that show the aax extension but with properly updated plugins through the NI Service Center all are now aax64 compatible. No need to purchase Komplete 9.

Re: 3rd party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
Also add Guitar Rig 5 aax 64 bit support - just happened via Service Center. So it looks like everything NI is aax 64 bit.

Re: 3rd party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
Did you install the aax versions of the plugs? It's a separate tick box as is for the RTAS, vst and au versions. Depending on what you have already installed on your computer some boxes may be...

Re: 3rd party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
Not weird at all. NI wanted to have at least something in AAX for use in PT 10 and were one of the few that had aax 32 bit plugs. And a lot of developers waited and dragged their feet getting into...

Re: 3rd party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
That's true because ALL NI stuff is AAX 32 bit and not compatible with AAX 64 bit which is what PT11 needs. AAX 32 bit and AAX 64 bit are two different animals. Some plugin developers have AAX 64 bit...

Re: 3rd party 64-bit AAX Plug-ins for Pro Tools 11
PSP Vintage Warmer 2 has gone AAX 64 bit (same installer version number) and Mix Pack 2 has also gone AAX 64 bit except for Mix Bass which they say is not working properly in AAX format per PSP email.
