i don't see how the reasonable suggestion of uninstalling any earlier version of Pro Tools and then installing the latest version infers that you would also need to uninstall your plug-ins and sample...

Sorry, this is an error in the Windows Read Me. The BlackMagic video card is not supported with Pro Tools on Windows.

The Read Me is being corrected now.

fwiw, i'm using a 96 I/O with an 882|20 off the legacy port and it works just fine. i think this is one of those not "officially supported", but not explicitly blocked either kind of situations.
