The Soundcraft spirit M series does indeed have s/pdif 24 bit output. Three to choose from: the M4, M8, and M12. Great mixers.

My reasons........

Mbox: Love the idea. Except it's USB (it should have been firewire). Great price. Have read too many negative reviews (mainly about latency). It's a little too bit limited....
