I looked around avid website but I can't see where is the item with "the perpetual upgrade once (US$800)"? Can you share with me the link?

Yes, crossgrade is one of the options but I really don’t want to pay annually.

I found on eBay that a new perpetual license which costs half the price and the seller...

Just tried it, still no luck. Isn't it Logic X running on yosemite don't compatible with thunderbolt interface is a known issue?

Perhaps I should give up osx10.10 and look for system downgrade to marverick or mountain lion....

I have tried what you mentioned above, the HDN do appear in the scroll down menu, it said the interface not available when I tried selecting it as output device.....I reopen logic again without...

If that is the case, I have to reboot every single time when my work flow need to switch between logic and pro tool?? It is very tedious that avid not allow their HD...

I read on some articles mention that Pro tools 11 (regular) can run on HD native system. So I thought it could be running Pro tools 12 on my HD native system as well...
