I have a pair of mc012's that I like alot. I use them as mainly as stereo overheads and for acoustic guitar. I've been very pleased. I've also tried them on male falsetto parts and was very happy.

oh....I forgot....Marshall 4X12 with 75wt speakers will probably suit you best....marshall make 80wt's know that rock even more......30wt's sound great, but maybe a little to muddy for this...

that sounds similar to what I usually play/record. The best setup I've found is an INCREDIBLE SOUNDING guitar head. VHT PITBULL.....the make a 50wt and a 100wt...rent/borrow...
