My bad #2:
I wrongly assumed this “protracted launch” Microsoft message was from Avid.

Thanks for suggesting changing Windows UAC controls to "Never Notify” – now double-clicking...

My bad for not immediately explaining why I’d gone the slower ‘Run as administrator’ route at Startup, when it’s quicker to just double-click the PT Desktop icon.

My Command 8 needs Pro Tools to...

It’s easier (and less RSI inducing) to press Enter on the keyboard, as opposed to clicking on the ‘Yes’ button with a Mouse

I also learnt that copying the URL of an uploaded image and pasting it in a Post means people can view the image without being logged in (which is mandatory for viewing...
