Neat stuff, but I encourage most folks to just use Pete Gates’ PT Prefs that now includes plugin info reporting as discussed above. Anybody else who needs to make or modify their own plugin reporting...

I'm not sure how folks are working out what plugins and versions they have installed but I've had a shell script for a while that reports plugin versions and I've cleaned it up and made it available...
