so the M-audio uno will "play nice" with the mbox 2 mini and pro tools 8 le? I am assuming once the drivers are installed for it, it will pop up as an option for a midi...

it's a great pre... I love it, worth every penny.

Good point... the gain knob on my mbox is set to 0...all input volume is controlled by the vintech... didn't even think about that, thanks man.

Hi all,

My current signal chain:

Audio Technica 4047/SV --> Vintech x73i --> dbx160a -->mbox 2 mini

From the dbx output, I have an XLR (out) to TRS (in) cable going into the Line/DI input...

If I can pick your brain a little more...

In terms of upgrading to the 003 rack from the mbox 2 mini... is it as simple as uninstalling the mini drivers...installing the 003 drivers and I'm good...

I fixed my 1115 issues by purchasing a separate USB 2.0 PCI Card and then plugging the mbox into that... errors vanished.
