I've previously found it helpful to be able to loop short segments of audio in other DAWs. In Pro Tools 2022.7 there seems to be a 500mS minimum loop playback limit. ie I can't loop anything shorter...

Yes, that seems to work, although I haven't been able to get the contained tracks to reveal themselves when double tapping the Select button (I'll give that another go); but I can open the folder...

No they won't acutally. The child tracks stay next to the containing folder when the folder is open.
