That's the answer...thanks...I'll need to reformat the E drive so it is a Basic and NOT dynamic drive...brand new...no problem

I've been using PTLE for many years and recently upgraded to v6.1.1

I installed Window XP Pro and added 256 Megs of RAM for a total of 512 Megs.

Basic question is: Will adding another 512 Megs...

I've found only one DUC mention of PTLE 5.3 suggesting that it works "ok" with XP Pro....Any additional confirmations would be appreciated...

Dither is an RTAS plugin. You will find it where you find the Dverb, Compressors etc.

If you are bouncing down to a stereo .wav file to master the track in a program like T-RackS 24 it is recommended that you NOT dither on the PTLE master fader. Check the mastering application...

Don't worry about Digidesign making money on the 002. To me it looks like a Focusrite design with a Digi label. And the reason it is so expensive is that 2 companies need to make money on its sale...

You need to mute the MIDI channels that are conflicting. Your DMPro will receive (I think) only one MIDI channel. You should mute that channel in your XP30. If you have any other tone modules in...
