Found out what i was doing wrong with the volume knob--forgot that there was a headphone volume knob. However, still having problems with the gain.

Just got the new mbox 3 pro. Reset everything to default in the I/O settings. I can hear my guitar, but I can not control the gain or volume--moving the knobs does absolutely nothing. Anyone else...

Reinstalling everything fixed the problem, even the upgrade to 8.0.3 is perfect now--no errors came up during installation. Thanks for all of your help.

Unfortunately, I had to upgrade to 8.0.3 due upgrading to Snow Leopard. I'm just going to try and reinstall everything and see what happens.
