Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

Nope. Both ports work fine. Which ever port it starts in, I switch it to the other.

Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

When I'm using Cubase on this computer, I have no issues. I can stack multiple VST's at once and don't have problems. So it must be more forgiving.

I'm not to sure what you mean by optimizations,...

Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

I'll look into posting a Sandra report.

There are only two versions of drivers for window c400. I have tried them both.

I did load the Win7(64) drivers, but as I was saying earlier, the...

Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

Thanks. It's not an M Audio product any more. It's only AVID. Interfaces have to be up and running before you start a DAW. That's the think that confuses me the most; everywhere, my computer says...

Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

It's the same after a restart, but c400 works fine. Also, my computer doesn't just crash, it waits until I start up Cubase.

Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

Maybe this will help; I've noticed that in Device Manager, there are two places that have c400 recognized. One in the USB and the other in Sound Video game and controller. The one in USB is c400DFU...

Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

I turns out that the c400DFU I was referring to in my Device Manager was having that problem because I deleted that driver. I've reinstalled and that part of the Device Manager is working fine now. ...

Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

Thank you so much for responding.

I do have c400 set to my default in and output, through Control Panel. Device Manager has c400 DFU listed but has a triangle sign with '!' in it. I click on it...
