Re: HDx, Pro Tools HD 7.4.1, Leopard.

Hi,

Sorry if this is off topic from what you were asking but...

I'm using OS 10.5.1 with PT 7.3.1(cs6) and a Mac Pro 2008 octopus. I have been successfully running sessions for 2 months. Some...

Re: Anyone Here Switched From LE?

Yup,

And I'm not looking back!

I have to say I didn't compare LE 7 and MP 7.
I jumped ship at 6.9.2 but it made a hell of a difference!

Re: ProjectMix line inputs -10?

All of the mobile M-Powered interfaces have been saddled with unbalanced analogue line ins or outs. While I'd say it's a bit wierd, in this prosumer market, I wouldn't call it a design flaw. I...

Re: Using an external effect processor on M-Audio

Hi Henry,

This seems quite frustrating. Without any inserts on the dry audio track going to the stereo output, it should be completely dry when you solo it. Is that the case?

Re: Pro tools M powered

The only difference I know of is that M-Powered runs on M-Audio interfaces and LE runs on Digi. As there's a much larger range of interfaces for M-Powered it's a much more flexible system.

As the...

Re: Optical ADAT I/O as an insert on 1814, anybody

Hi Paul,

No I've not had any luck with this.

When you say you have a "002 rig" do you mean you have two computers, with one running LE and the other running M-Powered?
Have you got the 002...

Re: Using an external effect processor on M-Audio

Hi Henx,

I realised I hadn't asked the most obvious question. Did you record it with reverb?

Re: Using an external effect processor on M-Audio

Hi Henx,

You should be seeing two separate tracks in front of you.

The original audio track, which should be completely dry.
The aux track which should be the completely wet verb.

Do...

Re: Using an external effect processor on M-Audio 1814

Hi Henry,

First connect the Nanoverb to outputs 3-4 and inputs 7-8.

Then create a stereo Aux track with inputs set to "In 7-8". The output should be going to "Out 1-2".

Instead of using bus...

Optical ADAT I/O as an insert on 1814, anybody?

Hi,

The reason I got the 1814 and jumped for PTMP was for the extra 8 balanced I/O via the optical I/O . Finally there was an firewire interface that was PT compatible, has a large I/O and also...

Re: plug ins question

Whilst that will save your settings, which is really useful, it will not mean that you can use the plugin on other systems. This is because the IK Multimedia plugins are authorised on the hard drive...
