The Mbox 2 doesn't use at all the core audio manager since it is class compliant. The manager is on the install disc for other LE products, but Mbox 2 is recognized by the system without any further...

I didn't test it out yet, but with some error messages I'm getting, I'm pretty sure that with my 1.5 Ghz G4 running PT7 through mBox 2, I won't go near the track count I had when I was on my 350 Mhz...

The only PT 6 version to work with OS 10.4 is 6.9."something" (I think it is .2). As for non compatible plug-ins, most have update available for free if you run PT 7 (Izotope just issued those...

It would basically be the same set-up as a Macbook, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just make sure you use an external drive for audio.

I wouldn't worry about that. It is a MacIntel like the others. It's the same thing as the never supported eMac which worked just fine.

Logic only uses Audio Units format and cannot use RTAS. If you are using TDM, I think it can be done, but if you're posting in the LE section, you probably don't have a TDM rig.

Uh...your sound card is your 002...right? If you mean the stock sound card inside the Mac, you're bypassing that already when in PT .
