FYI...

I think they recently raised their minimum system specs, as I bought a firewire solo for my PB800 and I'm running 24 channels at 96k off a wiebeteck 800 drive.

Firewire solo (400->800)...

But I heard it from two pretty reliable sources... I think if anyone is out there rushing to buy an 001 system, they might want to wait until January...

Kontact is the a amazing. I prefer it much more over SSC. One thing to keep in mind though.... It doesn't work with the 002 yet.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I think in the future, I plan to stay away from the hitachi IBM drives, and go for the WD 8mb cache drives. Still not sure as to which enclosure, as I want...

We've been using Firewire drives for sometime now. Usually the Lacie oxford 7200rpm 80/120 etc... We recently tried some OWC IBM drives, and had three out of four go down because of faulty...

Kontakt and the 002

Hi,

Just started using Kontakt here. Works great via direct connect with M-box/001/and HD, but can't get it to show up with my 002.

Yeah,

I did that already. All that I found was just some USB drive updater info... (40 hits searching under "mbox") Really, I wouldn't post if I thought that the info was available elsewhere.
