I'm surprised a moderator would be so dismissive of another professional's concerns.

And...the issue here is that there seems to be something wrong with the math in clip-gain and audiosuite...

Hi Sean - the issue is not adding 20dB or more of gain to something - that of course is fine - if it wasn't the world would spin off its axis. The issue occurs when gaining a clip up more than 20dB...

I'm not sure that's what it means at all. The 'mixer' seems to be OK as you can increase gain with faders all you want without issue - something specific to this particular method (audiosuite, clip...

I can confirm this behavior. HDX, 2021.3, Mojave. Also can confirm it happens if I disable HDX and run natively with just the Metric Halo interface.

Don't have time to fully wrap my head around...
