Unfortunately, that's normal. I believe Core Audio detects the first card's 8 inputs and only the first card of each interface.

Thank you. Figured it out. I needed to setup 2 seperate aux tracks with 1 using ESB 1 IN going out 1/2. and second aux with ESB 2 coming in and going out 3/4. and now I'm hearing stereo tonight.

I'd post on apple forums but I know you guys are smart and some use Logic..

So in Pro Tools it's as easy and configuring the IO Setup output tab to out 1 & 3 for the C24 to play a normal stereo...

PT is online, and yes I do mean spdif out rca, then it's 1/4" in on the MTP side. And yes normal analog audio cables carrying the signal.

The tapes I was given do start...

Could be a clocking issue. If you use the PT internal clock does the clicking go away? I'd break the setup down a bit and then add additional clocking and interfaces in until the problem comes back....
