It could be to do with your offsets (on the PQ page) - try setting them to zero. CD players respond differently to indices anyway - in my experience, if the timing is exactly right for one player,...

I noticed this problem too so I tried downgrading the init file after MLCD installation. MLCD seems to work fine and the digital input can be selected again.

MLCD is only compatible with audio files such as SD2, AIFF etc. and not audio CD tracks.

I find SD2 much quicker - no bouncing necessary, simpler quicker interface etc.

I agree. It doesn't surprise me that people are so ****** off about the MLCD situation, but it does surprise me how pleased some are with Jam.

#5. Maybe I did something wrong, but I definitely ended up with a mono CD once using Jam with split stereo files. I'll give it another go.

4. no real independence between items and pq indexes - meaning more bouncing and more fiddly and time consuming editing for jobs where something more complicated than a standard gap is needed.

Yes I use Jam sometimes too but I like to import 1 item for several tracks occasionally and I can't see a way of doing this with Jam.

I was using v2.2. I found the disc was open by putting it back into the drive and selecting command-I in Toast which told me xMB were available on the disc.

You could create one 2 second SD2 file and import that after each track, and give each 'blank' item zero tracks. Set default item spacing to zero. It should work.

My advice would be, if using branded, then stick to the brand recommended by the manufacturer of the drives in the duplicator.

I've had this problem for a while now specifically with split stereo files. The Mac can freeze at any time and it doesn't make any difference which HD I'm using.

I've not found a solution yet...
