we were doing this a few years back with a 002 chasing a beta vtr. just used the MOTU digital timepiece to convert to MTC. worked beautifully.

i was having the same problem a few weeks ago. fixed it by installing the combo update of 10.4.8. updating through software update wasn't cutting it.
