#1-PT 8 needs an M box 2. Can't use the Mbox1.

Not hard. Using the keyboard command focus, hit the "R" key on the keyboard and watch the timeline shrink while pulling away from the left side. It doesn't do this when you select another scrolling...

Well crap...that did the trick. I don't understand why continuous would do this as I'm zooming when the timeline isn't moving...

xpand 2 and PT 8 no patches come up

inserting xpand 2 on instrument track, plug in opens but clicking on parts have no voices to select from. patches are present in Application support/Digidesign/ plug-ins. I see all the patches....

thx for the reply. yeah, I do read manuals but PT confuses me at times. It's SOP for me to use a media drive for capturing my video media BUT.......my project files ARE NOT stored on my media drive....

Why no master volume control?

Why is it that PT architecture does not include a master volume control by default? Yes u can create one but even the control surfaces have channel faders without a separate master.

Window buttons don't close the window

The Mix and Edit window button switches only open and make active. Once I select the mix window and it opens, I can't close it by toggling the button. The plug-in button however, does open and close...
