Looks like you are correct on it being just a mack book, it is a 2.2 core 2 duo.

I'm really not sure on the model (it was the one right before the aluminium cases)

There is only one fire wire port on there Mac and that is where the digi profile connects to. Would internal or usb be the better choice.

Yeah they are recording to one of those mini Lacie orange usb 2.0 hard drives, they even tried recording internally as well but got the same results

An orange, Hiwatt, and AC15 would be huge (in my books)

a line6 dl4 pedal would be nice, and the option to have more than 1 pedal board and move "them" around in anyplace in the signal chain.

how did you get the line6 to talk to the 11R? and does a computer have to be involved to do so? if not this would be a cool setup for live use :)

the code for the expansion pack is only needed once to update the firmware of your 11R, once this is done it doesn't need to be done anymore, you will only need to do the first part of the install...
