I did some of these test/changes.

-My interface is a Metric Halo LIO-8, and the clocking is also through that unit.

I'm having the same issue, just switched to a new Mac Studio (running Ventura), never had this issue on my old system.

Did you find a fix? I did the fade -in , trying to get used to it, but still...
