Unless there is something special about C|24 and cable lengths, keep it under 300 feet and you should be fine...standard ethernet/cat5 spec is 100 meters or about 328 feet. If you don't know how to...

I made a new cross-over cable and tried that... same problem. The unit will go online and offline at odd intervals. It seems like once I do more than 3 fader moves the sucker quits on...

Update :

Well, I wasn't able to get C24 to be recognized when using the onboard ethernet port ~ I could enable the port, but in the Setups -> Peripherals menu by #1 on the ethernet controllers...

I already had those files on my machine from when I downloaded 5.3.1. Follwed the instructions to add Digidesign Ethernet Support and it appeared to install properly. I have both...
