STILL haven't heard anything from Avid yet.

What a joke. If you're not paying out of your ass, I take it nobody from Avid cares about their customers?

Any idea how I would go about this? What number? They make this VERY hard on the customers to figure this out. I tried one number, but its asking for a support code, not the case number.

Any idea how long it takes for someone to get in touch? I also filled something out online for them to get in touch with me and the automated email also said 'soon'. That was 4 days ago.

I believe 'Transfer License' was available for him in the iLok software and he was able to pay the fee and submit it. I think Avid just needs to approve it. I guess this is the part that's in...

Did they not become transferable after a certain update?

I feel like its a bit ludicrous to not allow someone to sell something they legally purchased to someone else if they so want to.

Where would I get the case number from? Would the person transferring the license have that? Would I simply be able to PM you my info such as email, first and last name and ilok ID?...

Very frustrated. I'm still appalled that one must pay $50-80 to simply speak to someone from Avid on the phone. What a horrible slap in the face to their customers. I have reached out for help...

Update:

So, I decided to simply unplug, then plug my audio interface back in again. Apparently that did the trick. Go figure. Honestly the last thing I would have (and did) thought to do.

I do have an i7. So I will set it to 6 out of 8 processors from this point on.
