Running PT 2021.6 isn't helping you any. Will be a long time before PT goes native on Apple silicon.

The pan slider has been a square since PT2020.12 and maybe earlier. I like it as a square - much easier to grab.

#1 is not necessarily PT's fault. What plugins are doing this? I've had issues with some plugins in other PT versions that change the state of some controls, especially if it's the last control...

Works fine here. The extended keyboard I have is not an Apple one but by Matias which is physically based off the original Mac keyboards.

Make sure you rename your existing install of PT so the new one doesn't overwrite it. And like I said all I had to do was to drag over my existing modded file to the new install.
