Please Help DAE Decks Error!

I just got a brand new dual 1.25 G4 with 10.2.4 and 1.25 gb of ram. i loaded PT 6 but when i try to launch it it hangs at start up and says
"can not create DAE decks" images/icons/confused.gif ...

hi,
this might be out of place but if i get a digi OO1 or OO2 can it also be used as a standard sound card? ie; can i paly games thru it? also can i also use it to work in cubase, Logic, Reson,...
