Radar beats Protools on a few points.

IZ TECH Customer support: Fantastic.
Reliability: Solid (most of the time)
Converters: The Nyquist converters on the Radars are far superior to the ones...

100% positive its my hard drive. Not a plug in issue seeing it happens on random tracks with different plug ins. I plan on reformatting my extra internal drive for audio. Any suggestions on partition...

I am running PTMP 7.4 using a WD My Book 320GB FW400 drive.

The problem:
I'm getting a "static/white noise" sound on random tracks, at random times. I am guessing this is the hard drive not...

The next best thing to do in this case is to bounce to .AIF. Then import to itunes and convert with itunes. No need to buy the mp3 option.

Also, if you wanted to go digital in ART has some cool Mic Pre's. The MPA Gold Digital is an analog preamp that has two digital outputs. This would allow you to have two more inputs. That equals 6!!!

yes. you would have to invest in a separate m-audio system. Think of it like this. Digidesign has three levels of products. M-Powered(M-Audio Hardware), LE, and HD. All of which can read pro tools...
