clusterer - So how do I make the eq switch between the settings?

Make sure Allow Latch Prime in Stop is checked. Then, when pasting, make sure destination track is in Latch and controls will go into Write when pasting. Then either Write To All or Selection.

I may have misunderstood your question, but:

Rather than copying settings from one plug-in to another, it may be simpler to just replace that plug-in with a "clone" of the other.

Hold Alt (Option for Mac) and drag the plug-in with the desired settings to the Inserts slot, where the offending plug-in is. When you drop it over the plug-in, it will replace the second plug-in with an exact copy of the first... hope that made sense.

Sometimes you'll want to copy the setting for a section of the project.

The Icon has some nice copy/paste functionality for this kind of thing. Does anyone know if there's a EuCon command for this, so we can put this on a Control unit touch screen (or an iOS/Android EuCon control app that may one day be written) ?

All this will do is copy the plugin to the other channel. If there is automation on it, the automation will override the eq setting.

Still I've found the best and quickest way to copy eq automation is what I detail before.

I believe those functions are icon exclusive

Also, another quirky PT way...

You must open the plug-ins "lanes" to be able to see the "Copy Special-copy plug-in automation" function. It is grayed out in any other configuration. Then once you "copy special / plug-in automation" you can "repeat to fill selection (ctl+alt+v) on the new clip. BUT the lanes must be opened on that track as well.

I find this sometimes easier. Just wish there was a shortcut to "Open Lanes".

I think it's Shift+option+right Arrow that shows lanes.
Or control+command+click on the parameter to show its lane.
