Default Free Technical Support Number

does anyone know the number to technical support one that you do not have to pay for I bought protools they should have some free technical support number

You should be able to get help from the Digidesign dealership you bought ProTools from. We fully support any ProTools system we supply here.

Also this forum is a good place to get support, why not post the issue you are having and see if we can help : )

Dude you are on FREE Technical Support. AVID Pro Tools 8 only has 30 days of free Technical Support, If you are beyond 30 days of your purchase then you would need to pay, but like I said "You allready posted to FREE Technical support" If you are lucky maybe one of these guys on the Forum will call you if you realy need to speak to Free Technical Support.

The free support number, assuming you're within your free tech support period, is 650.731.6100 (in the U.S. - check Avid.com with your proper region settings if you're elsewhere).

You can also get free support, in or out of warranty, using the support request forms linked from the top of the DUC.
