Command 8 and non-Digidesign plug-ins?
I'm considering of buying a Command 8 second hand. It's pretty new so I'm pretty it's going to be in good condition.
I'm a bit worried about one thing though. I'm using a lot of freeware plug-ins, not just the Digidesign ones. So my question now is: can you control non-Digidesign plug-ins via the Command 8? If not, there's not much use in buying a command 8 for me. Thanks for your advice. |

Any plug in written to the proper developer specs should be able to be controlled from the Command 8. I've never seen one that couldn't be. There are some plug ins that have parameters that aren't automatable, so they wouldn't be accessible from the C8.
