On the topic of shortcut key commands, for those on Windows who want a direct shortcut to freeze/unfreeze selected tracks, use Alt-T-F. Press those keys in sequence one after the other. If you hold down one while pressing the other, it won't work. It's an interim workaround for now.

i've got 12.4 installed and running. funny that the installer isn't in my avid account and app manager says there's an update but doesn't refer to it as 12.4. oh well, i'll take it.

I noticed that my Avid account is missing all of the PT12 installers. I guess NORAD is clearing a path for Santa to deliver PT12.4! Y'all feel a chill in the air? Baby, it's cold outside!

Testing this and you have to use Alt-t-u to unfreeze.

I have hit a couple instances where I am editing inside a track and hitting alt is not selecting the menu. Cant find the exact repro though other than when in a track and using r and t in keyboard focus for instance, you have to click outside of the track to make it work.

Win7 x64 here and workin' fine. It's the standard Windows main menu access using Alt. The track has to be selected(track name highlighted) first. Alt access can also be enabled/disabled at the OS level. Make sure it's on.
