Default Update available - Liquidsonics Reverbarate - now V 2.1.0

Just a heads up - Liquidsonics Reverbarate has an update (now V2.1.0)

..., apparently there are CPU usage improvements with this update.

Just had it crash Blue Cat Patchwork using the vst version of Reverberate while changing fusion ir's after a couple of such changes. Have yet to run it through PT or DP; more when I know more.

It seems to be working fine on my system (see my signature)

I tried to re-create your issue musicman, and opened the Reverberate v2.1 VST in patchbay v1.73 ..., then I switched between loading up I.Rs ten times (from various sources/ storage folders that I have using a combo of both WAV and AIF files)
- no crashes yet to report so far from my end (touch wood) ..., but It wasnt a thorough in depth test, and was only a just a 10 minute check to see if it would crash like it did on your machine ?

I'm curious. Is there a reason you don't use the AAX version? Or were you just doing this for test purposes?

There are times i need to use plugins in standalone mode like if I'm using an amp sim and I want a decent reverb while playing guitar live. I'll also do that when playing a keyboard vi live and I need a good reverb. And I need Patchwork for building fx chains that I want to use in different places (when I don't want to rebuild the chain every time) and doing it that way I can't use the aax version but either vst/vst3 or au.

BTW I got it to fail using the fusion ir's and not the parallel or true stereo ir's.

Hi Musicman,

I retried my testing again this morning (ie; bluecat patchwork standalone, and Reverbarate VST)

..., and swapped between about 30 different fusion presets.
I then tried it again using a combo of various fusion and traditional presets

For me ..., No crashing to report from my end .

So far, so good on my end also. I also noticed this good review in Sound On Sound June 2016(the printed magazine). The review was very positive:

Think I got it figured out - repaired permissions and it hasn't happened again. Good update to an already good program.
