Attractive price. Wonder what "negligible" CPU overhead really means...

Too bad about Waves, but luckily they've already gone AAX64.

I always liked the idea of this plugin so I grabbed it. Great way to save some channel presets and I like that it has M/S and wet/dry per plug as well as oversampling.... MB7 looks cool also, but the free routing of this guy is more my style for this type of thing.

Anyway it's working fairly well except not for kontakt, it crashes when trying to reload the sample lib. VSTs seem to have less overhead than AU, but with the AU you can run autotune 7 in it. With JbridgeM I have Slate trigger and FG-X running in here as well.

CPU overhead does seem to be negligible, at least with VSTs loaded...I tried comparing to some AAX2 PI's and couldn't figure out a way to see much difference (maybe 1%). With AU synths it does seem to have some more overhead or for whatever reason the 32 buffer wouldn't work.

So I grabbed the demo version to have a play only I can't seem to load any plugs, the Metaplugin instance loads within the session but when I go to load any of my VST or AU plugins... nothing, the UI remains empty! any thoughts?

In the Metaplugin GUI, press and hold the "control" key, then click anywhere in the black square. Select "Load plugin", then navigate to the VST or Components folder (Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins). Only 64-bit VST/AU plug-ins can be loaded.

Cheers, tried this as well as right clicking and dragging and dropping, no luck. Also this from the DDMF product page " 32-bit-plugins can be loaded into the 64-bit version of Metaplugin using JBridge/JBridgeM" This is what makes the product attractive to me.

Kontakt is working fine here, wonder what's up. Which libraries were crashing it? All of them? I've tried several and all good. Even jammed with my v Drums. I used the "metapluginsynth.aax" though...

@ Simon M - thanks for pointing out this plugin!

NOW, I can load my GFORCE and KORG synths. Almost as simply as loading them without any additional help. My DUENDE plugs? Back in action. I pretty much have everything I need now to work in 11 almost exclusively. And at $39? SOMEONE heard my plea. No more moaning out of me! I thank you...

This is a nice VST host. As a side note, I always liked the DDMF EQ's.
