Autotuned track is a lower volume than original?
I have a pretty good handle on Autotune now, but I can't figure out how to get the tuned tracked to record at the same level as the original? It records much lower.
I am sure it is something obvious but it is not apparant to me. I could always push up the volume of the source track, but I would think that the retuned vocal would not a be a manual volume/input adjustment, but an automatic and exact duplicate of the original source? ...or am I missing something? Re: Autotuned track is a lower volume than original?
I'm confused here. How are you recording thru Autotune? If you are using the hardware(rack mount box), you simply need to adjust input level going into PT on your DIGI hardware. I use the plugin version and have never had this problem. Sometimes I run it as an insert on an entire track, other times I will highlight a word or phrase and run the AudioSuite version. It will add latency but it hasn't been an issue so far. Don't know if this helps but maybe it will steer you to post more info on your setup and such.

The only method worth doing.
Follow the above instructions and everything will be fine. Your levels will come out the same. Shane
