help a friend

i need a Lil help learning a few thing about recording. I have been recording and mixing songs now for about a year and i am pretty good but i have a few question about compressing vocals and eq'ing vocals and i also have a few questions about hardware. so if any one want to be a good friend and help me out i would real appreciate it.
