Video editing within Pro Tools?

Hi

I imported a video track to PT, I can dobule the Video track and do cut/paste. Anything else I can do with video tracks within PT? eg fade in/out, add text to movie?

That's pretty much it. Cut, copy, paste - on frames - hard cuts.

Hi

On this old topic again. However, I don't have the below problem in my HD system, the problem is on my Macbook Pro as described below.

On my MacBook Pro, I am running PT8. I imported a QT movie to PT. I can run the program with audio and movie etc all fine. However, for some reasons, I can cut/copy/separate/paste the movie. I check everywhere, can't find any reasons why this happening.

Does anyone know where I shall check? or tell me if I missing anything?

Is the cut and paste of a video track not avaliable in LE? but only for HD?

You'll need the DV Toolkit or Complete Production Toolkit to do this in LE.

If this is the case, then my option is do the editing on HD first before transfer to LE touring.
