Structure playing ESX problems
Hello
When I try to load an ESX24 program into the structure it´s cutting the samples so that you hear only a little piece of it. When you click edit and listen to the single sample the whole sound is there but when you play from the keyboard it´s the same again... Wierd isn´t it Sven-Gunnar Petersson Sweden

Re: Structure playing ESX problems
Yeah... I get the same thing... though only on some samples. Most notably, a bunch of VSL stuff, but not all.. weird.
Anyone?

Re: Structure playing ESX problems
Yes, I've noticed that a bunch of the EXS imports have incorrect ADSR Amp envelopes. Just manually adjust it til it sounds right. The samples are all there.

Re: Structure playing ESX problems
I've messed with that, but I couldn't get some of the sustained patches to release right.

Re: Structure playing ESX problems
The quick fix i've found for most of these is to push up the 'hold' fader in the amplitude envelope.

Re: Structure playing ESX problems
Yeah, that works great for drum sounds. But for strings it doesn't so much.

Re: Structure playing ESX problems
This was not a problem with the Structure Beta. Must be some kind of regression bug. Hello Digi are you there?

Re: Structure playing ESX problems
Another one of my favorite threads for a timely bump.

Re: Structure playing ESX problems
This is beyond the beyond.
Digidesign, you advertised Structure to import EXS, therefore I got two FULL copies, solely to be used as EXS players. Structure does not EXS instruments. 2.5+ years now in beta. This is an epic failure. It's perfectly displays Digidesign's total decline to ignore such as simple-to-fix, yet catastrophic bug. Very very disconcerting.
