+1

Delay Compensation is also messed up when using Aux Channels and MIDI input:

http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=351476

And a system delay of over 2000 samples also destroys MTC synchronisation:

http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=349637

All in all, plugin delays and ADC in ProTools 11 could really do with some attention.

urtgh... that's crazy! I mix from multiple aux's of Superior Drummer on nearly every mix I do! I finally ordered an iLok2 to try out PT 11 demo... but this is a total killer. Why is it still not fixed?!

When PT11 was first released I jumped on it because PT10 32bit limits where killing me.
But because most important plugins were not AAX 64 yet most of us had to wait to really start using it.
So, finally many months later we now have Superior Drummer, FXpansion BFD, Kontakt etc... but wait?!?! delay compensation bug??!! plus other bugs!?!
A complete showstopping FUBAR situation.
Dead silence from Avid, when pressed they say turn off ADC on the channel and manually enter data.. wtf?!
Yes, all DAWS have some bugs to workout but this is ridiculous.
And the guys Pro Tools Expert don't seem to have a clue, what huh? Come on guys!?
Not that they're responsible for this but no mention in their podcast?
When was PT11 released April??
Shame on Avid for releasing a half cooked update.
A complete waste of $299 and worse than that a big f(*^%king waste of time trouble shooting etc..
I'm glad I didn't completely abandon Cubase.
I've kept up to date to 7.5.1 and it's really solid.
If it's good enough for Hans Zimmer....
Logic Pro? Got that too...
Oh, my band "The Whispers" is now using Ableton for live performances instead of Pro Tools.
Yea I have to continue using PT because of some projects but I don't know if I can ever trust Avid again.
The days of being the industry standard and holding us hostage with unreasonable high price extras are over.
OK I'm done

Emilio

For real?
This feature is the reason why I upgraded to PTHD11.
Haven't installed it yet, though.

Just to make sure, have you unchecked the second and third boxes in;
Preferences/Midi - Delay Compensation for External Devices?

The above works here on PT10. Doesn't matter if it's AAX or native plugins.
Here's a reminder of the difference between DSP and native when it comes to input monitoring.
